I've felt the darkness of grief as I've mourned the deaths of my infant daughter, my brother, and struggled through a marriage that ended in divorce. I still feel it as I face the daily challenge of raising my son with severe special needs.

Through it all, I choose one truth: the light of Christ is a lifeline.
